Security and data protection

How HOUSE OF ZIGGIMAY protects personal information, and what happens if something goes wrong.

What we hold

Order details, delivery addresses and contact details for customers. Card numbers are never stored on this site: payments are handled by Stripe, who hold that data.

How it is protected

  • Traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS.
  • Administrator accounts require two factor authentication.
  • Backups are taken daily, kept off this server.
  • Order data can be seen by the owner only.
  • Software is kept up to date, and failed login attempts are rate limited and blocked.

If there is a breach

If personal data is exposed, we work out what happened and who is affected, and we report it to Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk) within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, where the breach is likely to be a risk to people. Where the risk is high, we tell the people affected directly. HOUSE OF ZIGGIMAY is responsible for making that call.

If you believe you have found a security problem on this site, write to info@houseofziggimay.com. We will confirm we received it and tell you what we are doing about it.
